Chinese - One Dragon Restaurant - A Michael Shum Discovery

My friend, Michael Shum advises: "One Dragon is doing great business as the place is packed, with customers waiting for seats on a Sunday evening. The 3 orders of Xiao Long Bao we got are still good, but the Crispy Bottom Pork Bao would be my top recommended item since it’s so juicy, tasty, with a crispy bottom. Their version of Scallion Pancake is extra crispy like waffle compared to the usual fluffier version. Large Wonton in Clear Broth goes very well with the rest of the food.

Boss Lady is always so generous to send out Sweet Red Bean Pie Dessert that is always a delightful way to finish up a perfect meal.

People are still waiting for tables as we left. Many more non-Chinese customers are coming to this wonderful mom-and-pop restaurant. So happy to see them being their own boss and doing well after working for E-Tao and Sarah’s Place before.

One Dragon is one of the more underrated unique restaurants in Houston, but fans who know them might just want to keep it that way.
